By enrolling in any course or using the services of Kanz Academy, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to protect students, parents, and the academy while maintaining a respectful Islamic learning environment.
Kanz Academy is a Sri Lankan registered Islamic online academy offering Qur’an education through live Zoom classes and supported learning platforms such as LMS and WhatsApp. Classes are primarily designed for children and women, with parental involvement required for minors.
All student accounts are parent-managed accounts.
Parents are fully responsible for registration, communication, payments, and supervision.
By enrolling a child, parents confirm they have provided valid consent for participation in online classes.
Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of access.
Classes may include live Zoom sessions, recorded content, or both.
Class schedules, teachers, and formats may be changed when necessary for academic or operational reasons.
Kanz Academy reserves the right to change instructors or class timing when required.
If a student misses a class, no refund will be provided.
In valid cases (such as illness or genuine reasons), support may be provided based on the nature of the class, including rescheduling or replacement where possible.
All decisions regarding missed classes are at the discretion of Kanz Academy.
Payments may be monthly, course-based, or both.
Refunds are generally not provided.
In limited situations, class replacement may be offered instead of a refund, at the academy’s discretion.
If a student stops mid-course, the matter will be handled case-by-case.
Abuse of refund or replacement requests may lead to account restrictions.
Course completion certificates are issued based on:
Attendance
Course completion
Teacher evaluation
E-certificates are provided upon successful completion.
Printed certificates are available at an additional cost.
Kanz Academy reserves the right to withhold certificates if requirements are not met.
Students and parents must maintain respectful behavior at all times.
Kanz Academy has the right to remove or suspend students for:
Misbehavior
Disrupting classes
Parent interference during lessons
Repeated absences
Such actions may be taken without refund.
Recording, downloading, or sharing class videos, screenshots, or materials is strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized use of academy content may result in legal action and permanent removal from the platform.
Kanz Academy collects and stores necessary student and parent information for academic and administrative purposes.
Data is handled with confidentiality and used only for educational operations.
Kanz Academy may use class screenshots or visuals for promotional purposes:
With parent approval
Without revealing sensitive personal information
Children’s faces will only be shown publicly with explicit parental consent.
Classes and communication may take place via:
Learning Management System (LMS)
Zoom
Parents are responsible for ensuring proper internet access and device availability.
Kanz Academy is not responsible for issues caused by poor connectivity or device failure.
Kanz Academy operates under the laws of Sri Lanka.
The academy is registered under applicable regulatory authorities, including EROC and Private Limited registration.
Any disputes will be governed by Sri Lankan law.
Kanz Academy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Continued use of services indicates acceptance of updated terms.
